This is a sandcastle cake for a beach themed birthday party. It consists of vanilla cake & vanilla buttercream frosting, sand (vanilla wafers), & towers (ice cream cones). It was a big hit & the great thing about this cake is that it can be customized any way you want. Want grass, a moat, a drawstring bridge? It will all work!

For my son's 3rd birthday, he wanted a Blue's Clues cake of some sort & I'd like to start a little tradition with my kiddos that would consist of them helping with they're birthday cake.
